Could this crazy new Elevated Bus solve China's crippling traffic?

The Transit Elevated Bus (TEB) system is a new innovation from China aimed at resolving traffic congestion. Despite the fact that the concept had been part of several internet articles in May 2016, a newly released trailer demonstrates that a company located in China has constructed the very first prototype - with test drives now ongoing in the city of Qinhuangdao. The TEB is a new public transport design that combines the features of a bus, subway train and moving tunnel. However, several issues need to be addressed, which include height issues, traffic control and rebuilding TEB stops for passengers. Economically, new emission-free buses could make use of existing road infrastructure, whereas the cost of the train itself is $4.5m each.
