Elon Musk and SpaceX Want Your ideas

The Hyperloop is a futuristic form of transportation that aims to propel people in a capsule inside a tube elevated on pylons at speeds of up to 740mph. Recently, Dirk Ahlborn, CEO of Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, put together a team of 360 professionals to develop the project with stock options in the company. The Open Competition, hosted by SpaceX to collect design ideas for the pod, is aimed at students and independent engineering teams, with the finished race set to be held in June 2016. The ultimate goal of Musk is to create an affordable or even free solution to transportation.
