The First Ever Innovator Profile Study: Who We Are (And Why We Can't Do It Alone)

In a global research project on corporate innovation, FourSight Thinking Profile was used to measure the cognitive profiles of over 400 corporate innovators in comparison to more than 13,500 from the general population. Results showed that corporate innovators had a strong preference for ideation and implementation, evidenced by high scores on both thinking styles. On the other hand, the same innovators showed a low preference for clarifying and developing, which are needed for meticulous analysis and detail-driven rigor. Collaboration with those who prefer conformity and structure can help create a seamless exchange between new ideas and profitable solutions for successful innovation.
