A user journey map, also called customer journey map, is a visualization of a user's interactions with a company. It thereby shows the different touchpoints between a company and a user and in which order the customer interacts with them. The whole relationship between the user and the organization is thus visualized across channels. In order to innovate it is key to understand the importance of different touchpoints to serve customer needs.
